I've never seen a real life Good Humor Variety Pack, but I'm gonna start looking! When I was a kid, the Good Humor truck used to come by to our weekend country house. My dad would get a toasted almond, I'd get a strawberry shortcake, and my brother would get a bomb pop. Thanks for the memories! I like your blog and funny outlook on life.snobbybloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08526919359642718817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139814941566752118.post-85447937550371702912007-08-24T19:12:00.000-07:002007-08-24T19:12:00.000-07:00Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your s...Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your support. It's an awful thing to feel alone, and I've been waiting for the right time to put it out there. I felt good about what I had to say, and was careful not to say too much about my adoptive home. I, well, we - my brother, sister, and I were all abused there - - - physically and verbally. I was unable to nurse my children because of feelings from my molestation - - but it's how I was taught so many years from my adoptive parents- - the anger and the cruelness, the with holding of love, that has been even more hard for me to over come. I hate, in myself, the patterned instinct to lash out and be mean.... I've had to work, and still work very hard to be kind and patient. It's my largest struggle yet. Thank goodness for the gospel, I was baptized LDS at age 17. It's been my saving grace. It has tamed my fierce side, and replaced a lot of my feelings with a equally fierce love and protection towards my children. Oh how I love them, every part of them. We were meant to be together.Mistyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10497823064126116308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139814941566752118.post-45872759135545784262007-08-24T18:43:00.000-07:002007-08-24T18:43:00.000-07:00Wow, thank you! Likewise, I like reading about the "older life" and getting some insight into what it is like to live in a world where I have more than my own wants and needs to consider.Left-Handedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05635327823530813335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139814941566752118.post-23258377867467079362007-08-24T14:28:00.000-07:002007-08-24T14:28:00.000-07:00An award!
