Pictures

These past 2 weeks I've tried really hard to be a "good mom" whenever the opportunity arrived and I've even got pictures to prove it. =)
While Cheeks did this:
The kids did this (as you can see by there faces, this is serious stuff):
And I did this:

Then, while Cheeks did this:

The kids did this:

And I did this with occasional help from the wet kids (Some people call it a kiddie pool, I like to call it an outdoor bathtub to be used when doing outdoor arts and crafts):

And, while Cheeks did a lot of this:
The kids made buko bucks selling this (and this one deserves its own post):
While Sweet Terror helped me paint this:
So that it could look like this:
The Darth Vader pinata is now stuffed and ready for Pablo's birthday party. Yes, I make custom pinatas, but I still can't manage to get the laundry done. Pinatas are just a lot more fun.

  1. It sure looks like everyone is doing great! Who cares about the laundry.

I love that pinata. I wish I was that creative.

  10. i was supposed to make a death star pinata for kimball's birthday party last march. alas, it fell by the wayside and i found myself at party city two hours before the party, relieved to find a darth vader pinata for under 20 bucks. yours is way cuter than that one!

  12. I loved the pictures! I'm in awe of your multi tasking abilities! I know you were feeding, burping and changing the baby while supervising, mixing and making the ROCKIN" pinata!

That's not easy to do, and not everyone can do it (take moi, for example).

Cheeks! I want to kiss those cheeks so badly.

  18. Maybe if laundry were more fun, then we'd all be doing it more. I was thinking you were already doing Pablo's Halloween costume... until you mentioned pinata. That would make for a great mask!

  23. My son saw the finished pinata. "It's dark thader! I want one Mommy!"
He also now wants to go out side and play in the pool which is good because when I asked if he wanted to do that a few minutes ago he said no. So thanks! :-)
Your baby is adorable! Laundry...yeah..I stopped doing that 13 months ago when my daughter was born. I keep telling my husband I'll start back up again one of these days...before the next one comes along hopefully. :-)
So I see you finished reading The Once and Future King. Did you like it? I almost bought it the other night but then remembered I am not supposed to be buying books until our AC and cars are fixed...
