Girls Night Out

Wooo Hoooo! Girls Night Out tonight, YESSSSS!!!! I'm meeting up with An Ordinary Mom and one other friend and we are going to leave the kids at home with our husbands and we are going to be out LATE. Are you dying to know what we will be doing? I've been prepping for it all week. I have detailed lists that have had many rough drafts made and discarded in preparation for this event. We are.. drum roll please....

GOING GROCERY SHOPPING
Are you just insane with jealousy? I know, we are pretty wild, my friends and I. We run away from the kids, and giggle like school girls as we drive way out of our way to go grocery shopping at the cheapest place around (WinCo). This is the best time of year to do it because of all the holiday sales and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I can't wait! If we go early enough we might have time to go grab a treat when we are done.
Ok, so maybe I need some professional help here. But I will worry about that AFTER our AWESOME GIRLS NIGHT OUT
WOOO HOOOOO!!!!
Oops! I've gotta go take my car seats out and scrape all the old fruit snacks off my seats. See ya later.

I'm laughing because several times my daughter and I have done the same thing for our girls day out!

I am counting down the hours :) !!

I guess this means you don't need another reminder email ... did someone say treats after?

You're the best!

I was going to feel bad that you didn't invite me until I realized it was a WinCo run. I love that you can have so much fun grocery shopping though!

Enjoy! Doing anything in adult company is refreshing - including grocery shopping.

Hope you have fun!

Wow! I really wish I could be there too. I think people that can turn grocery shopping into a party (you really DO make it sound fun) are very special people.
Go Crazy!

My favorite Girls Time out was a particular Mother's Day when another harried Mother and I got to have the whole weekend away from our families. Our husbands were very supportive (I think they loved the fact that they were off the hook having to fix a special mother's day meal!)
