I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to eat a 1 pound bag of party pretzel twists in one sitting either. Or maybe I could (if I had enough water to wash it all down) but I certainly wouldn't want to.
But for some unknown, and quite unsettling, reason I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with eating 2 pounds of almond bark coated party pretzel twists in one sitting.
*shudder*
Happy New Year !!!

Mmmmmmm! I'm so there with you! Those things are addicting!
I just tell myself that a pound and half cooks off when you melt the bark. Right?
WHERE did you get the almond bark?? I've been waiting and waiting to make more peppermint bark, checking Tops and QFC - and they've been out of almond bark FOREVER!!!! SO NOT FAIR!! Tell me where you got it! Please!!
You are SO awesome!! :) Can't wait to make some peppermint bark tomorrow. Take care of that cute sick baby of yours - and I hope YOU get some sleep.
Funny how physics don't play fair when it comes to over indulgent food?
I think I ate two boxes of fiddle-faddle, a tray (not plate) of broccoli and carrots, almost half the pan of artichoke/spinich/shrimp/crab/butter dip, of and a third of the lasagne. That was only in the three hours I was at that party. But I did not inhale. Yeee-ah
OK I totally love these- so much for my New Year Diet
I'm so with you. We made these for neighbor gifts and I ate way too many. I love the whole sweet/salty combo.
I agree with Steph - when you cook it, the calories are burned off. Just like when cooking with wine/liquor--the alcohol content goes down!! :)
i love those things. there is something about the sweet and salty combo that is hard to resist.
Ha ha! You are sooo right!
happy new year and best wishes to you and your family!!
LOL...a question for the ages, isn't it? :)
