A Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter: one of my all time favorite books. It's a simple, sweet story of a girl who fights for what she wants and by staying pure and true to herself and others she gets all she deserves by the end. It's a true happy ending. If you've ever seen the TV version it is not the same thing. I can't stand the TV version they made of this.

Umm...let's see. BBJ came up to bed at 7:15 and kicked us until 7:45 when Siu Jeun woke up. Then I made breakfast for everyone, and we played a bit of video games (well, I played for a minute, then dragged the toddler upstairs to wreak his havoc THERE). Then...Stew Leonard's, baby!
Yeah, we're livin' it up. ;-)
Too bad we cant replay with pictures, cuz I would have shared my eyebrowless forehead and greazy Gollum hair head with you in return.

You crack me up!
I helped in my kids' kung fu class this morning. When the instructor invited me to assist, I thought he would need my technical expertise. Turns out, he just wanted me to whack their ankles with a foam swimming noodle. I think I'll spend next Saturday morning waiting in the car with a good book.
That's just like my hair!!!!! I am trying to grow it out, so I can atleast pull it back in a pony tail. I am not liking the crazy bed head hair that I get. :)
