1. Loose enough weight to be able to take off my wedding ring. Not that I want to take it of, I just want to be ABLE to take it off.
2. Sell something on Etsy. No, I don't have an Etsy shop, but I fantasize about it so much that I think I ought to give it a try.
3. Start entertaining again. For the first time in 7 years we didn't have our Christmas party and I have yet to have anyone over for dinner since we've moved. I need to get back into the habit of having people over because it really is something I enjoy.
And that is it. Short, sweet, and hopefully doable. I flirted with the idea of going off sugar, being more organized, following a personal chore chart, exercising everyday, writing a novel, etc, etc, etc. Then I laughed till I cried, ate a cracker dipped in ranch with pimento olives (don't ask), and used my sock to wipe up some spilled milk. I think 3 goals is plenty in my current state of mind.
And yes, I know ranch and pimento on crackers isn't going to help me with my wedding ring. I was going through a snack food withdrawal after the big New Year's Eve binge-a-thon. Desperation does ugly things to me.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I think you should only ever make doable goals and these all sound like they are. And as a bonus, two out of three are things you successfully done before. You KNOW you can do it. Yay for you!
Sounds doable to me! Good luck and Happy New Year!
My wedding ring was stuck on too...but it made me claustraphobic so I made my husband cut it with wire cutters so I could take it off. Now my wedding ring looks like one of those cheap quarter rings....but I can get it off! :)
love the goals. love the visual pf you with the cracker in some bizarre dip and wiping up milk with your sock. :) thanks for keeping it real.
i LOVE you!
i'm glad i'm not the only one who wipes up spill with random articles of clothing. thanks.
Can I say two things?
1) I think I love you. ;-) These goals are AWSOME.
2) baby bums (in pants) are much better for wiping up spills. *grin*

I missed your Nacho Cheese Party this year :( !! I was really bummed you weren't here.
Happy New Year! And good luck with your resolutions. I think they sound great.
P.S. Loved your family photos in the previous posts :) !!
Great goals! I'm working on losing weight too. There's nothing like having a baby on Jan. 4 to kick off losing some pounds!
And speaking of people's children who have gotten huge--what happened to yours?! Cheeks was a baby last I saw him! Love your family photo in the next post. And good luck with your goals.
Great goals. I keep thinking I want to open an Etsy shop. If you do it, let me know how it goes!
