(ARE THESE VIDEOS WORKING FOR ANYONE? THEY DON'T SEEM TO BE WORKING FOR ME.)
Here is Cookie practicing the dance she learned at Activity Days Camp. They only had 3 hours to learn and perform it.
Pablo and Monster Man performing their amazing tricks in the hotel hot tub.
Sweet Terror and her bestest buddy showing off their bean shakers.
Now I am off to finally start preparing for this baby boy to come. For some reason I completely skipped over the usual "nesting" phase of pregnancy so nothing is ready. Last week I had a bad scare with contractions and I was terrified because I was so unprepared. So, now I must make room in the office for the crib, sort and wash baby clothes, pack a hospital bag, check out the hospital where I will be delivering, clean my bedroom (I still have a huge pile of non-maternity clothes sitting on the floor in a corner), buy a new hat (I always don a baseball cap right after delivering and my current favorite is in absolute shreds), and clean the rest of this place so that I won't freak out of I have to call a friend to come over in the middle of the night. Maybe all this work will put me into labor. I'm going to pack my hospital bag first, just in case. =)
What are you doing to start your week today?

Awesome videos. :D
Let's see, how do I start off my week?
A few hours of screaming, a couple of messy diapers, cereal on the floor, a dollop of sibling rivalry and fighting, read a blog or two, and pray a prayer to end all prayers that I'll survive the week!
Not much, really. But enough to frazzle the nerves, just before twin toddlers go down for a morning nap - thank goodness. ;)
(Good luck with all the last-minute nesting. I sure hope all goes well for you and the upcoming delivery! But take care.)
Gosh, you're making me almost nostalgic for that phase. Almost. I remember, I used to wake up and think, "The baby might come today!" and buzz around and clean everything and stock up food and then the baby wouldn't come and I would spend the next day crying because it wasn't here yet and everyone was eating all the food. Then, I would start the cycle all over again.
My poor husband...
Thank you, thank you, for videos of my precious grandchildren! Watching Cookie, was like watching my little Libbie - sigh!
Um, ditto to all the feelings you are having.
I, too, just recently realized that I have a lot to do before this little one comes, especially getting the hospital bag packed, getting a bassinet and buying some newborn diapers. You never know if one day I will be at my weekly non-stress test and they will tell me, "Nope. You can't go home. We are checking you in."
I can't wait to meet the newest addition to your family!
Oh, I love the movies! Your kids are . . .HUGE! What a fun idea to do an Activity Days day camp! I love it!
I couldnt get the videos to play on my computer. I feel like I missed out :( ha ha
The last one is too cute!
All that baby prep has reminded me that my sister is due any day now and I really need to get in the attic and pull all my old baby clothes out for her and clean my house so I'll be ready to have 3 extra kids hanging around while there mom is in the hospital.
Have fun! I did not pack a bag last time I was pregnant until about 20 minutes before I left to be induced...
I have to try to get my house into order! I have always skipped nesting, since for every baby I've delivered, I've moved at the same time! It's built-in I suppose! Good luck with going into labor!
I love the videos! SO cute. Sweet Terror looks deliriously happy with her shaker. Adorable.
Today I'm finishing the laundry, cleaning up the house for our house sitter, and packing for our vacation to go visit friends and family in Idaho. Wahoo!
nesting myself... and I also had some forced nesting last week since I had to prepare for the arrival of in-laws. :)
Well, I decided that since I haven't been sick in a very long time that I would start my week by having a severe headache and really sore throat! I am sure it is from all of the stress and lack of sleep. Ya, so that's what I am doing to start my week. All the fun I can handle.
The videos worked for me. They are sure cute.
Good luck getting everything ready. Hopefully it WILL put you in labor. :)
Aaaack!! I don't know how I'd prepare for a baby due any day now!! Maybe he'll be born on my bday! It's a good day you know? ;)
The videos were great! It's so fun to see videos... Your kids are adorable!
Happy nesting!
Starting my week? Not yet, not me!
But I loved the videos! :)
Your videos are darling...but I feel a bit like they are mocking me because I can't seem to get my own cute video to upload. Hm.
Thanks for asking about my day. But I really don't want to talk about it.
Please, just pass the ice cream.:-)
Very cute! That last video is adorable!
your kids are adorable. *shake it, shake it, shake it!*
My oldest started preschool today. I don't envy your stress. How about you call that friend right now. If she comes over today, she may force you to take a nap and then if she happens to clean anything (or not) at least she'll be less likely to trip over something in the night...
Lovin' Sweet Terror and her non-bashful version of the "Shake It" song.
My Monday Agenda: Take Kids to Summer School Camps, Take Tekina to Park, Make Pani-Popo, Paint Family Flag, Let Kids Swim, Tekina's Joy School graduation. Forget laundry, dishes, and any cleaning.
Typical Day.
Eeek! I can't believe it's June and you're going to have your baby already!!!
I loved the videos! Your kids are so cute. I can't believe that Cookie learned that dance in three days. Way better than I could ever do. And if only I were that uninhibited in the pool. AND Sweet Terror...melts my heart with her shake, shake shaking. :)
Good luck with the nesting!
Ha, Ha! Love the 'toxic couple' analogy -- sounds oh-so-horribly familiar - LOL!
The videos are just adorable and sending you best wishes for much to be accomplished during your last-minute nesting! ;)
