A Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter: one of my all time favorite books. It's a simple, sweet story of a girl who fights for what she wants and by staying pure and true to herself and others she gets all she deserves by the end. It's a true happy ending. If you've ever seen the TV version it is not the same thing. I can't stand the TV version they made of this.

GORGEOUS. I am going to be green with envy to read about it. We were supposed to hit the beach this week but the trip didn't work out. I am rather let down over the whole thing so will have to live vicariously!
