Ice Cream Winners

The names are in and the free ice cream winners are (I had my kids yell out random numbers that I assigned to each name):
Lisa

Thanks for playing, and don't forget to send me your mailing address! (lizzyvance at gmail dot com) And, not to pressure you or anything, may I highly suggest you find and try some of these fun flavors of Klondike bars with your coupon. When you click on the individual flavors there is a window where you can type in your zip code and it will tell you the nearest store that carries that flavor. I've actually never had a Klondike Bar before. I'm not sure why... Well I just tried the Heath and Reese's flavors last night and I gotta say, "I think I'm hooked!" But I will post more about this new experience later... I still need to try and find Caramel Pretzel. Heck, I just might try them all... After all, good experimentation require complete thoroughness. =)

I need your opinion now. I'm new to this whole giveaway business and I need to know, should I have had a longer cut off time for this? I know I sometimes don't get around to blogs as often as I would like and maybe some of you are sad that you didn't get here in time for this? Or do you prefer to know the end result quickly? I've entered several giveaways and then forget which ones I've entered and where because I had to wait weeks to find out who won. Let me know what you think.

In other news: Sheesh, it is amazing to me how difficult blogging (and everything else) has become now that I have Cheeks. His Parent-Pleasure-Sensor is always set to high and he sounds the alarm anytime I start doing anything that feels even remotely good. I eat, he cries. I read, he cries. I pee, he cries. I sit, he cries. And when he cries I have four little messengers that feel the need to tap me incessantly in order to make sure I know that the baby, laying right next to me, is crying. It makes me want to cry.

Tony is so sad he didn't win your giveaway. Don't worry...you can't get rid of me that easily.

So sorry about Cheeks and that darn sensor of his.

Rats! I missed your giveaway. I still like a quick turn around, though. I think it's SO cool that you got to review ice cream! (and get free ice cream for it)

Hang in there, Cheeks. Thanks for sharing your mom with us. :)

I think quicker is better, even though I didn't win :( Cheeks just wants you all for himself! That just means he loves you a ton! Feel better?

I like quicker ones too. I am very bummed that I did not win.. I think I will have to sooth myself with some ice cream.

Yeah! I win! How exciting!

I like giveaways that are a least a couple days long. That way if I don't get around to reading all my blogs in one day, I will get to it the next. I think a mon-fri is not too long.

I don't think I have had a peaceful bathroom break for 2.5 years (unless, of course my son is asleep). He used to cry if I tried to leave him. Now, he can be happy and busy doing something and when he hears me go into the bathroom yells, I COME TOO! and runs into the bathroom. If I try to lock him out he cries. There is no winning. Good luck with your little crier! :)

Oh my goodness! I never win anything and this is the second something I've won this month!! Tell your kids they're awesome for picking my number.
And don't you cry too, have some ice cream and cuddle your baby. We can wait. :)

Yippee! I'm so excited that your kids picked my number!

I know it's hard when babies cry (when my first was born, I cried every time he cried). Good luck!

Wow--this is the first blog giveaway I have won! I just emailed you my address. Thank you!

I think a giveaway should last a few days, but not a few weeks.

Hope you can get a few moments of peace. I am holding my youngest now as I type one-handed. I can do a little typing that way, but it's hard for me to write much without both hands going. Just take time with him now...it will get better as he gets older, as I'm sure you know!

Yay! My first giveaway win! Send it fast because I might need it in the next few days! :)

i think that two or three days is a good timeline for a give away. probably because i don't get to read blogs every single day (unless i'm slacking in every other area!)

they really do have built in sensors, don't they? don't worry--you'll be back in full swing in no time. enjoy him now while he's at this stage and we'll all be here waiting for you when you get back.

Well, since I've been so out of touch with the blog world that I'm not even sure if I entered, YES you should have given more time. And maybe an email to my inbox reminding me that you were giving away ice cream. And maybe an email saying I'd won.

Congrats to the winners!!

I'm so excited!!! This is the best giveaway ever! I like the amount of time you gave for the giveaway...thought it was just right!

Cute cheeks...it's hard to be a baby eh?

Seriously...thank you so much!!!

I suddenly want the Klondike bar sitting in the freezer....

You're not exactly instilling confidence that I'll be able to get anything done when I have a third child! Lately, Bode has not been letting me workout, which was something he ALWAYS did before so we've had to take it outside. No complaints but I could be in trouble when winter comes!

yay!!! free ice cream rocks!!!

I missed it! I've been out of the loop and I missed it! GAHHHHHH!

How fun for you that you get to review ice cream!
I missed the contest because we have been on vacation so I think you should have left it open longer. :-)
Actually, I think short turn arounds are nice because fewer people enter and then it ups my odds of winning. :-)But then I have only done one give away and I left it open for about a week...
I remember after my daughter was born, every time I thought I could grab a few minutes to get something done she would start crying. At least I don't have all the other kids poking me and telling me she is crying.

Hooray for free ice cream ... and hooray for school starting tomorrow :) !!

On one hand I like giveaways that are open for 3-5 days since I don't check Bloglines every day, but then again, quick 1-2 day turn arounds are awesome because then it ups my chances of winning :) !!

P.S. And what is with the fussy baby stage right now?!?

omg, i had to lol @ your 4 little helpers telling you the baby is crying....that sounds SO familiar....
mine learned a song to keep their sister happy...even now they will sing it to her....and now she just yells at them ;)

ps - i'm purposely not reading the ice cream info...it's killing me not to eat it anymore...

I'm so sad that your winning Lisa is not me. :( As you can see, I needed more days for this one. We were in our first week of school and going out of town for the long weekend. I completely missed it. But I am glad that you enjoyed free ice cream!!!!
