Substitute Bloggers

HI!
I want to blog but don't really have time today (thanks to my one week goal of only 3 computer hours a day) so I'm leaving you with two substitute bloggers instead. I will warn you, though, these are brilliant young mothers who are so amazing that they make me feel like the lazy tired old woman that I am. But if you wear sunglasses and squint really hard you might not be blinded by their amazing mom/homemaking skilz.

I promise you will never have a dull or uneducational moment with your toddlers if you read this blog: Little Hands, Big Work (SP, don't you ever just let your kids watch SpongeBob all day while you eat ice cream and watch reruns of Dr. Who? Please lie and tell me you do so that I can feel better about myself. Thanks!)

Want to pinch your pennies harder? No one pinches them harder than my petite and perfect sister in law. If she weren't so awesome I would probably hate her. I tried to hate her, really I did, but she won me over anyway. Well, after being harassed by friends and family for her penny pinching, earth saving ideas she has finally decided to devote a blog to them at Clipping Corners. Go on over, try to hate her, I dare you.

Oh, and if any of you are like me and trying to stay away from fast food with all the New Years resolution stuff then you simply HAVE to read this poem by my sister, The Fast Food Demon. I'm trying to memorize it so I can repeat it every time I drive by the Burger King siren. Curse their onion rings!

i'm proud of you for sticking to this goal. you are impressive, really you are.
i guess i should have dropped last week's goal of getting up by 6 this week instead of carrying it on and adding another. i just got carried away, inspired by all you were aiming to change and accomplish this week. alas, i have yet to get out of bed before 7:00. sigh.

I don't know about her but I totally would do that. I heart Dr. Who and I wish I could afford to buy the DVDs so I could get my fix any time I wanted.

Concerning your goal of not eating out too much and trying to get dinner on the table, here is another blog to take up some more of your computer time. She posted a good video with good tips today:

Just thought you might enjoy!

If she weren't so perfect you'd probably hate her? Sounds like my sister in law Becca. Every uses the word "angelic" when talking about her, probably because she puts up with my brother.
