Even Sweet Terror got sick of it and laid down while saying, "Why do we have to have so many boxes? I don't like all these boxes, they are driving me crazy, Mom.".
Now we are in our new home, and half of the boxes have been unpacked. In the basement, though, are 3 walls of boxes. These are the "skeletons in my closet" boxes. You know, the ones filled with things. My things. Things that I will one day do marvelous things with. Things that I have yet to do very much at all with. Things that I keep boxing up and taking with me every time I move. Things that Mr. Hotness and the kids couldn't care less about. My things.*sigh*
I liked it better when all these things were hiding in closets and drawers and cupboards.

I have this theory (and you help prove it) that the less stuff you have the more full or fulfilling your life is.
Boxes. I hate boxes, too.

I have to agree with your theory.
I think we had about 115 boxes when we moved - and that didn't count bins, bags, etc. I agree with your theory - the less you have the better :) !!
for the first seven years of our marriage, we moved seven times. it was great because i would edit every time, giving things away, throwing things away, etc. now we've been in the same house six years and i'm scared to know how much stuff we have.
Oooh...boxes. You know, I have no idea how many boxes we had. I bet Lo Gung knows. But...umm...I have this awful suspicion that it was as many, if not more, than you. And our family is half the size of your family, and has been married half as long. *gulp* Help!
And long live Skeleton Boxes. I'm STILL unpacking boxes that I taped up 15 years ago, when my family moved from Bellevue to Issaquah. Oy.
Oh, so many more than 204, I'm sad to say. I watch that Hoarders show and think...that could be me if I stopped putting things away. Eek.
